Ok so the process of the new norm is underway. Preparing to welcome you in safely when the date is confirmed by the government is the focus right now. But like we have said before, we want to keep our 5 star salon journey as intact as possible, we want your visits to us in Northampton to feel like a visit to a hair salon should.
So we have added what we need to, assessed what is important to make sure everyone can be relaxed and enjoy the fun, social visit to the G&E McIntyres like it should be. That being said we will first shout out how spacious and big our floor plan is in our hair salon. Making it such a must visit experience for the people of Northampton.
Our guest journey has played a major part in us becoming multi award winning. So now we need to adjust. The new norm needs to be safer but not clinical. A hair salon is a hive where you come to get away from the stresses of things like Covid - 19. So that's what we will try to do. Below is pre instructions before your visit. It's important we are working together to ensure safety is met. After all, no one wants to get ill, do they!.
You know that due to our already very hygienic and clean environment we are strict on anything we've added is only going to be better measures.
Pretty straight forward, right? but one or two changes so please do come prepared.
So what about your actual planning around the visit?, childcare etc?

Now we know what your going to say, what if i have an appointment and my child or husband does? Well that will be ok as not only are they from your household but it will be booked out on the columns so you have taken capacity of numbers that will be in the salon. That instruction is more aimed at anyone who brings a child or partner with them to wait. Primarily to help with social distance measures.
What if you're late? well sadly this will be a trick rule. Any later than 15 minutes and we will have to reschedule for earliest available appointment. These are unprecedented times and we hope you don't see it as a sly on your customer service but it's very important we are in control of the numbers of those who are in the salon.
Can I bring refreshments? yes of course. But they have to remain with you, you will have to dispose of your rubbish yourself our take it with you. Same with reading material.
Why the safety charge? Well this is where we ask for your understanding. This pandemic is no ones fault. The measures we are now having to carry out are no one's fault but we do strongly feel your safety is important. We are sure you will agree. Don't get us wrong we are funding some of this cost per guest as well, we hope you agree its fair we both support the safety for you.
Feedback on your survey responses told us how much you value our impeccable cleaning standards so know what the team have learnt further and we are inputting is only going to boost the cleanliness of the area. Including no sharing of equipment like straighteners.
